NTC-CAR Gears Towards Strengthening Campaign to End Violence Against Women
Staring November 25, 2021 until December 12, 2021, the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women is commemorated. This years’ campaign aims to promote awareness regarding Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313 or SSA), both for the general public and the institutions that are mandated to implement the law.
In line with this, the NTC-CAR conducted a comprehensive Awareness Seminar with regards to the Safe Spaces Act by enjoining the participation of various stakeholders. The event was participated by 20 stakeholders who are Barangay Officials and Active Members of Civic Action Groups. The Safe Spaces Act’s definitions, provisions, and other related information have been well elaborated and discussed by Atty. Melanie F. Bumacas.
Along with this, activities such as signing of pledge was also undertaken. By affirming their signatures, as government employees, they stand firm to maintain and uphold the provisions of the Safe Spaces Act and to take actions and activities that contributes to foster implementation of this law. In addition, Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Materials were made available for the clients in order to raise awareness and share vital information.
2021 Women’s Month Celebration
March 8, 2021
Every year, March 8 is celebrated as the International Women’s Day. The NTC-CAR, celebrated this juncture by taking photos which highlights the #WomenPower of the Office. The event is celebrated along with the gentlemen which symbolizes a significant synergism within the Office .
GAD #JuanaDance Wellness Activity
This activity aims to give a sense of meaning to gender equality by engaging the participation of all employees, not only women, in celebrating and paying attention to women’s extraordinary roles in our society. This activity was conducted on March 15, 2021.
SERVICES ON THE GO
In order to extend the frontline services, a Mobile Licensing at La Trinidad was conducted from March 22-26, 2021. This activity aims to set out services to Senior Citizens, Persons With Disabilities, Pregnant and all other types of clients.
